MathEclipse

Welcome to the MathEclipse Wiki.

About MathEclipse

MathEclipse is a Java Computer Algebra system.
MathEclipse has functions for arbitrary-precision integer arithmetic, matrices, vectors, finite sets, derivatives, pattern-matching, term rewriting rules and functional programming.

MathEclipse is usable through:

• an AJAX Online Calculator interface written in GWT
• a simplified AJAX Online interface for internet browsers on PDAs and mobile phones (see the simplified Eval API page for more information on how to configure the form's fields and buttons)
• an Eclipse Math Plugin

The parser (which includes a double and complex mode evaluation engine) is separatly available:

MathEclipse is also available as a JSR-223 scripting engine:
